Who am I?
The question Amiee asks on her own website, answered the way her clients would: the therapist who built a five-star clinic out of her own recovery.
It started with getting better
“After becoming unwell and turning to holistic therapies myself I then went on to train in multiple areas to enable me to help other people recover as I did.”
Amiee, in her own words
That single sentence is the whole clinic. Amiee has been a practising holistic therapist since 2018, training across massage, reflexology, reiki and traditional Chinese acupuncture because each discipline had been part of her own way back.
The clinic began life as Soul Therapies. When it outgrew its first home, Amiee moved it to 132 Hamilton Road and renamed it The Sage Clinic. She chose the ground-floor premises deliberately, so that clients with limited mobility could get through the door without a second thought.
Speaking to the East Anglian Daily Times when the new clinic opened, she put it this way: “Since Covid, everybody has been a lot more open to having therapy, everybody has needed it.”
“I am a Reiki master teacher, ITEC and VTCT Level 3 trained deep tissue massage therapist, reflexologist and traditional Chinese medicine acupuncturist in Felixstowe, Suffolk. I am registered, certified and insured with The Acupuncture Society.”
Every treatment at The Sage Clinic is carried out by Amiee personally. It is a one-woman clinic by design: the same hands, the same standards and the same welcome, every single visit. As she says herself, “this is something I am hugely passionate about.”
The certificates on the clinic wall
In 2023 Amiee was named a Rising Star Award Finalist at the UK Hair and Beauty Awards and was proudly voted into the District Top 10, national recognition for a clinic she runs entirely on her own.
